When are you open?
Grooming days are Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, by appointment only. The easiest way to book is online, and appointments open up to three months ahead.
How long does a groom take?
It depends on your dog’s size and coat. A Mini groom takes about an hour, while a full Major groom for heavy or double coats can take up to two and a half hours. Your dog is the only one in the salon, so nothing is rushed and there is no cage drying.
How far ahead do I need to book?
Online bookings need at least four hours notice, and you can book up to three months ahead. For anything sooner, call or text Samara on 021 207 3980 and she will fit you in if she can.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens. Please give at least 12 hours notice, either through the link in your booking confirmation or by calling or texting 021 207 3980, and we will find you another time.
How often should my dog be groomed?
Most coats do best on a six to eight week cycle. Booking your next visit before you leave is the easiest way to keep your dog on schedule, and it means you get the time slot that suits you.
Do you groom cats?
No, Tūi & Chief is dogs only. Every part of the salon, and all of Samara’s training, is dedicated to dog grooming.
