More Than
A Groom

“I started Tūi & Chief in the name of my father, Peter Sauer. Tui was his drink of choice, and the Chiefs were his team — he was their biggest fan. It only made sense to put the two things he loved together.”

Samara Sauer is a trained groomer working out of a purpose-built home salon in Hobsonville. One pet at a time, no cage drying, no rushing — every appointment is calm, individual, and done with care.

His memory has helped shape everything about this business — and pushed her drive towards a passion they both loved. Tūi & Chief carries his name, his spirit, and his love of animals forward.
